Nutrition for Emotional Wellness

With Dr. Auer, in five weeks, I've lost 10 lbs, I have more energy, and feel like my brain can do twice the amount of work as it could before, in the same amount of time.

How we perceive and relate to the outside world is a mirror of our own internal chemistry.  We feel our best when our body is in a well balanced state, meaning all our  biochemical processes including energy production, hormones, and neurotransmitters are in a healthy balance.

Neurotransmitters carry messages from the brain to the body, and, when they’re balanced, your body is able to positively respond to the demands of day-to-day challenges. They are chemicals that regulate our moods, appetite, mental sharpness and energy.  The building blocks of our neurotransmitters begin with the type of foods you eat and how well your body can brake them down. Additionally, factors such as poor absorption, an imbalanced intestinal flora, or an overgrowth of  yeast such as Candida in the gastrointestinal system can lead to an imbalance in your biochemistry and neurotransmitters.

Diet and nutrition are key factors that contribute to a healthy neurotransmitter balance. To balance out your neurotransmitters, Dr. Auer will customize a diet for you based on your physical and emotional symptoms.  Additional, he may complement your diet regiment with a supplement protocol to aid your body in the transition.
