Allergy Screenings

Allegy Screenings

In general, an allergy is a physical reaction or hypersensitivity relating to something you’ve come into contact with (called an allergen) by inhaling, ingesting or simply through the act of touching.  Symptoms depend on the type of allergen that you’re reacting to and can include:  fatigue, sneezing, itchy and watery eyes, hives, rashes, abdominal pain, swelling, narrowing of the airways, and even brain fog and poor memory.

The onset of allergies can occur as a child or can develop later in life. Sometimes, our allergic reactions to triggers (especially food) are so subtle, we don’t event notice them until the allergen is taken away and our quality of life improves so dramatically it’s hard to imagine how we didn’t notice the allergy or sensitivity before.

Types of allergies include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Food allergies such as nuts, eggs, dairy, soy, wheat, corn, seafood/shellfish, and nightshade vegetables to name but a few
- Environmental allergies such as to pollen, plants, grasses, and trees
- Allergies to animals and their dander, saliva, or urine

Dr. Auer will work with you to identify and screen you for any allergies or sensitivities. He will walk you through your results and develop a customized holistic treatment plan, including natural supplements and dietary recommendations, that will elevate your quality of life to a new level.
